Fire Starters

This is how to make fire starters.  First you put dryer lint, pencil shavings or sawdust in cardboard egg cartons.

Next you boil candle wax, yes candle wax, in a tin can in a pan of water.  Then when it has liquified you pour it on the dryer lint. Use a oven mitt because the can is hot!

Here's what the egg cups look like when the wax has been poured on them.  I used purple candles.

After they cool, tear or cut one section off and toss it in with the wood and kindling, preferably underneath.

Then light the fire (but be safe).

Here's my fire!
